Each scheduled tender event follows a documented Process Letter: registration and licence verification, issuance of the Information Memorandum, a fixed bid deadline, and settlement handled directly by Greenstar as seller. Sealed bids are submitted through the secure buyer portal on this platform. Bids and volumes are confidential between bidders: no participant can see the bids, volumes, or identities of others, and no prices are published on this platform at any time.
Regulatory compliance at every step
All quota transfers are subject to approval by DCCEEW under the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989. Participation is limited to entities holding a valid Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Licence (SGGL). Settlement requires lodgement of the prescribed Form 35 with DCCEEW before any transfer is effective. The operator does not represent that any particular tender will result in a completed transfer.
